Cranberry Oatmeal Muffins Recipe

by katerina on February 13, 2007

I have been cravings cranberries for months now and today was the day. My favorite use is honestly probably in martinis but you can’t drink those everyday. There is something so nice about their tartness in a sweet surrounding. Plus they are full of antioxidants and so really good for you!

Cranberry Oatmeal Muffins Recipe

I love making muffins to take to work for breakfast and I always try to keep them on the healthy side  since muffins can definitely go in the cakey direction. I actually knew I wanted to make cranberry oatmeal muffins with some sort of nut on the way home so I googled for an exact recipe when I got home and found this one.

I wish! I really like traditional gin martinis and cosmos as well as anything tart and citrusy. Can’t stand the sweet martinis which are so in Vogue. But yes, I should totally make some homemade martinis with cranberries, you may have inspired me.

Katerina, I found your site via google while searching for muffin recipes. I love these muffins and have made them twice in the past 2 weeks. Can't wait to try more of your recipes – I've made a list! Thanks for posting, I'll be checking back often.

Is the amount of salt correct in this recipe? The batter seemed salty when i tested it. The muffins not so much but I can still taste the salt. I would probably decrease the amount next time. Great recipe though!
