Kale Chips Recipe

Don’t knock it until you try it. I swear that roasted veggies at high temperatures (400-450F) drizzled with olive oil and salt and pepper are the best thing ever. But what is even better, are the veggies that you wouldn’t think of. Broccoli? So good! I love brussel sprouts done this way too. But Kale is a revelation. Eat them right away (… like say right off the sheet pan?) and you won’t be disappointed.

  1. I’ve seen these online a few times too but have never tried them. I think it might be time for me to do it though, since I have run out of ways to make winter veg. interesting. Plus– this seems super easy to do.

  2. I love kale chips! I don’t remember where I 1st saw them, but I’ve been hooked ever since.

  3. I’ll definitely have to try this tomorrow. I have a 1/2 bag in my fridge because I bought kale instead of collards and they didn’t turn out how I wanted them to so I didn’t know what to do with the rest of them. Thanks!

  4. What a great idea! I actually just tried kale for the first time recently – but not like this!

  5. I’ve heard about this and been wanting to try them! Sounds good!

  6. I have tried it a couple times but each time the kale chips were so brittle they almost dissolved before reaching my mouth – and I defintely couldn’t dip them in anything either.

    Maybe I overcooked them??

  7. Jen, April, Deborah and Kalyn – I would love to hear what you think of them!

BIz – Chips is a bit of a debatable title, they are definitely fragile and couldn’t hold a dip. That said, if you overcook them they will get very brittle.
