Dead Dill

by katerina on May 29, 2009

It appears as though I killed my dill.

Dead Dill
I went away last weekend and when I came back my dill, which grows in a pot indoors on my windowsill, was looking really iffy. Like, really iffy. So I watered it. By the time I got home on Monday evening it looked like this. Maybe it was too much water after not having had any? Having all the windows closed and then opened?

Anyone have any ideas what I did? Do you grow dill on your windowsill and if so is it outside or inside?

Hmmm, I grow it outside in the summer? I dunno, mine never quite died as much as your did!! LOL Maybe it was too much sun?

I’m just jealous that you are growing (erm killing!) fresh herbs. I don’t have a good place to do so and must buy them at the store.

And you know how expensive that is!

Cheers.

Sorry to hear about your dill :(

I planted dill inside this year, and it seems to be the most sensitive of all the herbs I planted. If I even go 2 days without watering it, it threatens to die on me…
