Banana Cranberry Bran Muffin Recipe
Using bananas in baking is great because not only does it use up your blackened bananas but it makes your muffins and other baked goods naturally sweeter. The riper the banana the sweeter the fruit and the resulting muffin. If you are lacking in blackened bananas try ripening them on your counter at room temperature, to speed up the process put the bananas in a paper bag and turn daily.
Adding cranberries balances out that sweetness really nicely and takes advantage of a fall favorite. These muffins make the perfect mid morning guilt free snack.

I have bananas and cranberries on hand to use…all I need is some bran to make these pretty little muffins! For something so healthy they sure look delicious.

These look great. It's a great way to use up those extra cranberries (and aging bananas) during this Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

Made these this evening and they made my house smell so good. Couldn't resist and had to try one while it was still warm – delicious!

The recipe does not tell you when and how to add the bran. I made them however they are somewhat dry in texture.

I’ve made these a few times; each time adding and changing something to it. I’ve posted them to my blog and mentioned this site as the original recipe. Adding unsweetened applesauce will help make it more moist!

Here is my post if you would like to check it out:
