There is nothing like needing to buy cream cheese in bulk for the sake of party appetizers is there? But don’t fret as this blue cheese and walnut spread recipe is definitely on the easy side and can be made slightly ahead (up to a week), so you are ready for a Christmas or New Years party event.
Gorgonzola & Walnut Cheese Spread
(1 cup)
125g cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup walnuts
125g gorgonzola, softened
pinch smoked paprika
roughly crushed black pepper
Use a spatula to combine the cream cheese and gorgonzola. Place the walnuts in a skillet over mediu heat. Toss gently until lightly toasted and roughly chop. Fold the pepper, walnuts and paprika into the cheese. Put into a serving dish and refrigerate afor a few hours or at up to a week.
