How to Make Croutons (Recipe)

Homemade croutons taste so much better than store bought and are very easy to make. They keep pretty well in the fridge too, so make a batch and keep then in the fridge for a few days to add to salads and soups. Once you know how to make croutons, you will never buy them again!

Croutons

(1 1/2 cups croutons)

1 1/2 cups french bread, chopped into 3/4" cubes
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper

To make your croutons first preheat the oven to 375F. Toss together the bread, olive oil, salt and pepper and place on a rack on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven. Watch your croutons carefully or they will burn, they should only bake for 5-10 minutes or until nice and lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let cool.
