Need an idea for leftover poultry? Well, next weekend if you aren’t sick of the holiday flavors yet – try this pasta recipe flavored like classic sage and onion stuffing. It’s also a great way to bring Thanksgiving to your dinner table all year round.
Sage and Onion Stuffing Pasta
(serves 2)
1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium low heat. Add the onion, sage and a big pinch of salt and sweat the onion until soft.
2. Whisk in the flour and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, whisking regularly. Slowly whisk in the chicken stock and bring the mixture to a simmer. Stir in the chicken and give it a quick taste and season. Simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Toss with the sauce, adjust seasoning and serve.
